Tim Rydberg currently serves on the Board of Trustees as the President. His purpose is to present and foster ideas brought by the board to create a spiritual community that can sustain the Church and the teachings of Unity that create an atmosphere of Joy, Love and Spiritual growth for all that seek us out and make our congregation stronger.
Tim and the Board of Trustees have been instrumental in maintaining the Sanctuary and grounds by promoting various volunteer activities, e.g. tree trimming and removal, pressure washing and with the help of Reverend Liz’s family, light replacements, computer upgrades. He has successfully created “Fellowship theater” a once a month gathering to watch a movie and enjoy hot dogs right off the grill and the fixings donated by attendees. Donations garnered from this event go towards the Building fund to keep up with whatever repairs come up from time to time, and discusses various other activities which would benefit the church and the members.
He and the Board have been able to implement and complete several activities over the past year, such as Have the Sanctuary and Education Building Pressure washed, Sealed and painted as well as several minor repairs to appliances, water lines and a roof leak.
For questions or inquiries Tim can be contacted through the Unity in grove website.
Calvin Cramer joined Unity in the Grove February 2011. Sandy and I were (and still are) convinced that we had found a fellowship of love and compassion for all of creation through God’s unconditional LOVE.
Cal became a member of the Board of Trustees and then was elected President of the Board. Cal is now vice president of the Board and considers himself privileged and honored to serve Unity in this way. I welcome all who read this to visit Unity in the Grove and feel the love of people who are positive thinkers and are extremely compassionate people.
